Work Description
Research on functional electronic devices utilizing ultra-thin semiconductors at the molecular and atomic scale, involving organic materials and transition metal dichalcogenides.
Responsible for research on new computing architectures, including multivalued logic and reconfigurable logic circuits.
Scope of Work Description Change Duties are subject to change within the scope of the Employee's position.
Qualification
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a related field and be highly motivated to develop novel computational elements.
Experience in the fabrication and characterization of thin-film transistors is desirable.
Starting Date December 1,2026 or later
Term Termination will be at the end of March 2027.
Extension beyond this period will be considered depending on budget availability.
Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed five years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations.

Scope of Work Location Changes The scope of the change of place of work shall be limited to each of the Employer’s site, as well as other locations separately approved by the Employer.
Work Hours 7hours 45minutes per day, 5 days per week

Deemed working hours when the discretionary labor system is applied are 8 hours and 15 minutes per day.
Holiday Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, New Year holidays, annual paid leave, and other holidays as stipulated in the NIMS Regulations.
Salary / Supply
  • Monthly salary 345,425 yen~ ( to be determined based on the applicant's experience and ability)
  • Deemed overtime allowance indluded in monthly salary (Article 13-2 of the Salary Regulations for Fixed Term Employees)
  • Commuting allowance provided (for distances of 2 km or more; subject to a maximum limit).
Trial Period Two months from the start date of employment
Insurance Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance, and Workers’ Accident Compensation Insurance.
You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements.
