| Work Description | Postdoctoral Position in Next-Generation Spintronic Devices for Memory and AI Applications. The research involves the development of magnetic thin-film materials, including altermagnets, and spintronic devices such as tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) and spin-orbit torque (SOT) devices, employing sputtering and electron-beam evaporation techniques. |

| Qualification | Ph. D. in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Applied Physics Candidates should have a strong research background in spintronic thin-film growth, microfabrication of nanoscale devices, and magnetic/electrical transport characterization using ultra-high-vacuum sputtering and/or molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems.

| Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period | Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed five (5) years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations. |

| Scope of Work Location Changes | The scope of the change of place of work shall be limited to each of the Employer's site, as well as other locations separately approved by the Employer. |
| Work Hours | 7 hours 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week Deemed working hours when the discretionary labor system is applied are 8 hours and 15 minutes per day. |
| Holiday | Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, New Year Holidays, annual paid leave and other holidays as stipulated in the Working Regulations. |
| Salary / Supply | Monthly salary 345,425 JPY - 493,012 JPY. Deemed overtime allowance included in monthly salary (Article 13-2 of the Salary Regulations for Fixed Term Employees) |
| Trial Period | Two months from the start date of employment |
| Insurance | Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance and Worker’s Accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements. |
