NIMS signed MOU with CNRS, France

On June 3rd, 2024, NIMS signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for research collaboration with the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), France.
Dr. Hono, President of NIMS, visited CNRS headquarters in Paris and attended signing ceremony with Prof. Antoine Petit, Chairman and CEO. They exchanged opinions about future collaboration and agreed to expand our partnership. After the ceremony, Dr. Hono received several research introductions by CNRS researchers that CNRS is focusing on. It is expected that the research collaboration will be stimulated and strengthened through this MOU.

National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), France
CNRS is the largest national basic research institution in France, with a total staff of over 33,000 and 1,100 research laboratories in France and abroad. Partnership between NIMS and CNRS has led to joint research involving French companies and universities so far, notably the LINK, an international research laboratory focusing on advanced materials for energy and the environment which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
