MANA Principal Investigators, Win the SSDM Award

SSDM (International Conference on Solid State Devices and Materials) 2020 selected this year's "SSDM Award" to Prof. Tsuyoshi Hasegawa, Waseda University, Kazuya Terabe, MANA Principal Investigator, Tomonobu Nakayama, MANA Principal Investigator, and Masakazu Aono, MANA Executive Advisor.

The "SSDM Award" was established to recognize outstanding contributions to academic or industrial development in the field of solid state devices and materials.

Their research "Quantum Point Contact Switch using Solid Electrochemical Reaction" was selected for the 2020 SSDM Award, which nominated papers among those that have been presented between the 1st SSD conference in 1969 and the 46th SSDM conference in 2014.Prof. Tsuyoshi Hasegawa of Waseda University, one of this year's SSDM Award.

Prof. Tsuyoshi Hasegawa of Waseda University, one of this year's SSDM Award winners, worked at NIMS from 2002 to 2012 and explored research on Atomic Switches together with the other winners.
