President & CEO Naruse of Tohoku Steel Co., Ltd. Visits NIMS

On October 20, 2025, a delegation led by President & CEO Shinji Naruse of Tohoku Steel Co., Ltd. visited NIMS.
Tohoku Steel is a comprehensive engineering manufacturer specializing in special steel, offering services from material development to processing and heat treatment. President & CEO Naruse, accompanied by the Director of Technology Development and four engineers from the Technology and Development Division, toured NIMS's state-of-the-art facilities and received an explanation about the materials data platform that NIMS is currently developing. Finally, they exchanged views with NIMS President Kazuhiro Hono regarding future strengthening of collaboration.
