NIMS signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Argonne National Laboratory, USA

On May 31st, 2024, NIMS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for research collaboration with Argonne National Laboratory, USA.

Prof. Khalil Amine, Argonne Distinguished Fellow, visited NIMS on May 31st, 2024, attended a signing ceremony and exchanged opinions with NIMS President Dr. Hono about future collaboration. It is expected that the research collaboration will be stimulated and strengthened through this MOU.

Argonne National Laboratory, USA

Argonne National Laboratory is a top-level national laboratory which belongs to the United States Department of Energy (DOE) and is located in Lemont, Illinois. In October 2023, Dr. Paul K. Kearns, Director of Argonne National Laboratory, visited NIMS and agreed that the two institutions would establish a cooperative relationship in the field of secondary battery materials in the future.
