Logo Usage Guidelines
2025.12.25 Update
Any one who wishes to use our NIMS logo is required to get our permission via the contact form shown below.
However, you may use the logo without permission, as long as you or your case are satisfied with one of the following cases and satisfied with all the conditions listed below.
- One of the following collaboration partners, Materials Open Platforms (MOP), Industry Collaboration Centers, LSTC Materials Research Lab, Academic Collaborative Centers, and their members.
- Authorized NIMS venture companies and their members.
- Partner universities under NIMS Graduate Program including International Cooperative Graduate Program (ICGP) and their members.
- External organizations or individuals whose Request for Permission to Use the NIMS Name for Co-Sponsorship and Support was approved and who are planning to use our logo for promotion of their events under the co-sponsorship and support.
- Co-authors of research results in collaboration with NIMS, and external organizations of the co-authors, who make the information public through various channels including press release, academic presentation and press conference.
Required conditions
- The logo usage enhances the visibility and credibility of NIMS
- No political or religious intentions are included.
- No intentions contrary to public order and morals are included now and in the future
- The logo user is not an anti-social force
- The logo is properly used under the "NIMS Logo Usage Guidelines" shown in the link below.
