NIMS Signs MOU and ICGP Agreements with IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee

NIMS has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) and agreements for the International Cooperative Graduate Program (ICGP) with the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) and Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee). The conclusion of the agreements is expected to further strengthen the research partnership between NIMS and the respective institutions.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur)

IIT Kharagpur is a public research university located in Kharagpur, West Bengal, in the eastern part of India. It has approximately 750 faculty members and over 14,000 students. The MOU with NIMS came into effect on March 11 and the ICGP Agreement on June 18, 2025.

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee)

IIT Roorkee is located in Roorkee, in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. The research and educational institution encompasses a long history, whose predecessor was established in 1847 and later became the first engineering university of independent India. The MOU and ICGP Agreement with NIMS came into effect on July 29, 2025.
