| Work Description | The successful candidate will engage in the characterization of advanced materials by applying in situ transmission electron microscopy techniques for thermal, electrical, and mechanical stress observation. Target materials include thermoelectric materials, heat-dissipation materials, pyroelectric materials, nanomaterials, bonded/joined materials, and devices.

| Term | 1 Year (Extension should be dependent upon the budget condition) |
| Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period | Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed 5 years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations. |

| Scope of Work Location Changes | The scope of the change of place of work shall be limited to each of the Employer’s site, as well as other locations separately approved by the Employer. |
| Work Hours | 7 hours and 45 minutes per day, 5 days per week, with a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00. If the discretionary labor system is applied, deemed working hours shall be 8 hours and 15 minutes per day. |
| Holiday | Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and other holidays in accordance with NIMS regulations. |
| Salary / Supply | Monthly salary: JPY 345,425 Salary will be determined in accordance with NIMS regulations based on experience and ability. The above amount includes deemed overtime allowance. |
| Trial Period | Two months from the start date of employment |
| Insurance | Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance and Worker's Accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements. |
