| Work Description | Research on the fundamental and applied photophysical properties and photofunctions of organic dye molecules and supramolecular systems
|
| Scope of Work Description Change | Duties are subject to change within the scope of the Employee’s position. |
| Qualification | Candidates should hold a PhD in a relevant field and be highly motivated to explore and develop novel photofunctions of organic dye molecules and supramolecular systems.
|
| Starting Date | December 1,2026 or later |
| Term | Termination will be at the end of March 2027. Extension beyond this period will be considered depending on budget availability. |
| Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period | Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed five years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations. |
| Work Place | National Institute for Materials Science, Sengen site, Tsukuba,Japan. |
| Scope of Work Location Changes | The scope of the change of place of work shall be limited to each of the Employer’s site, as well as other locations separately approved by the Employer. |
| Work Hours | 7 hours and 45 minutes per day (8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.), 5 days a week; break time: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Under the discretionary work system, the deemed working hours are 8 hours and 15 minutes per day. |
| Holiday | Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year’s holidays (December 29–January 3), annual paid leave, and other leave as specified in the organization’s regulations |
| Salary / Supply | Monthly salary: 325,360yen ~ Deemed overtime allowance included in monthly salary(Article 13-2 of the Salary Regulations for Fixed Term Employees)

| Trial Period | Two months from the start date of employment |
| Insurance | Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance, and Workers’ Accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements. |
