Job Summary
  • Design and synthesis of organic and polymeric compounds.
  • Preparation of their assemblies and analyses on the resultant structures and properties.
Qualification
  • Applicant is requested to be an expert having a strong background for organic synthesis through the research experiences for more than three years in a university laboratory that is conducting research projects in the corresponding field.
  • It is mandatory to have M. S. or Ph. D. degree in Chemistry. The latter is advantageous.
  • Those who can speak English fluently.
Starting Date After August 1, 2023 (available for consultation)
Term Up to March 31, 2024. Renewable based on the annual review.
Work Place National Institute for Materials Science, Namiki-Site (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki)
Work Hours 4 hours a day, 2 days a week
Holiday Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays
Salary / Supply
Complies with the NIMS Fixed Term Staff Salary Regulations.
Trial Period Two months from the start date of employment
Insurance National Public Servants Mutual Aid Association short-term, employees' pension insurance, employment insurance, and worker's compensation insurance applicable (Various insurances are subscribed if they meet the requirements stipulated by laws and regulations)
