NTU-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science

This center has been established based on the agreement for NTU-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science, which was concluded on July 26, 2013 between NTU and NIMS.
NTU and NIMS have concluded the International Cooperative Graduate Program agreement in 2013, and under the agreement, we have been promoting research collaborations. This research center aims at inviting NTU faculty and students to conduct joint research at NIMS.

Laboratory for Innovative Key Materials and Structures (LINK)

In January 2019, "LINK (Laboratory for Innovative Key Materials and Structures)" was established within NIMS as an International Joint Unit (UMI) of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), in collaboration with Saint-Gobain, a company headquartered in France, CNRS, and NIMS. The goal of this center is to promote Japan-France collaboration and integration in the fields of materials science and materials engineering, and to realize innovations based on such efforts.
At LINK, academic research is being conducted to elucidate the physical and chemical properties of novel materials with nanostructures, while exploratory applied research is also being pursued to enable the use of these nanostructures in industrial and societal applications.

IITH-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science

This center has been established based on the agreement for IITH-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science, which was concluded on April 6, 2021 between IITH and NIMS. IITH has received supports for campus construction and student-exchange programs from the Japanese government through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Many excellent researchers in the field of Materials Science and AI have been educated and are actively involved in research there.
IITH and NIMS have concluded the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2019 and the International Cooperative Graduate Program agreement in 2020, and under these agreements, we have been promoting research collaborations. This research center aims at inviting IITH faculty and students to conduct joint research at NIMS.

IITG-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science

This center has been established based on the agreement for IITG-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science, which was concluded on April 1, 2025 between IITG and NIMS.
IITG and NIMS have concluded the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NIMS in 2019 and the International Cooperative Graduate Program agreement in 2020, and under these agreements, we have been promoting research collaborations. This research center aims to invite IITG faculty and students to conduct joint research at NIMS.

IITB-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science

This center has been established based on the agreement for IITB-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science, which was concluded on November 14, 2025 between IITB and NIMS.
IITB and NIMS have concluded the International Cooperative Graduate Program agreement in 2024, and under the agreement, we have been promoting research collaborations. This research center aims to invite IITB faculty and students to conduct joint research at NIMS.
