Delegation from NSTC visits NIMS

On Tuesday, April 15, delegates from Taiwan representing the Department of Natural Science and Sustainable Development of NSTC - National Science and Technology Council -visited NIMS, to exchange views with NIMS representatives on the prospect of strengthening interactions between the two institutions. In the discussion ensuing overviews presented by both parties, NSTC delegates expressed considerable interest in NIMS’s strategic incorporation of data-driven methods into its materials research. State of the art semiconductor research was another topical issue that was taken up. We anticipate that the active exchange of perspectives which took place on this occasion will further deepen the collaboration between the two organizations.
