Work Description
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to conduct experimental studies in solid state chemistry, focusing on the development of novel magnetic materials that exhibit exchange bias effects without relying on artificial interfaces. The successful candidate will be engaged in high-pressure synthesis and crystal growth of complex oxides, as well as structural and magnetic characterization using techniques such as XRD, SQUID magnetometry, PPMS, and neutron diffraction. The work also includes participation in collaborative experiments at international synchrotron and neutron facilities, with the goal of optimizing material properties for potential spintronics applications.
Scope of Work Description Change Duties are subject to change within the scope of the Employee’s position.
Qualification
The applicant should hold a PhD degree or be expected to obtain one by the time of arrival. A strong background in experimental solid state chemistry is essential, with experience in high-pressure synthesis, crystal growth, and physical property measurements. Familiarity with condensed matter physics and/or materials science, particularly in magnetism, is highly desirable.
