Work Description
  • Synthesis and analysis of battery mateerials.
  • Fabricacion of battery cells and evaluation of battery performance.
  • Compilation of experimental date.
  • Other tasks as directed by the above job types.
Scope of Work Description Change Duties are subject to change within the scope of the employee’s position.
Qualification
  • At least one year of work experience related to battery materials at a reserch institute, university or company, or a bachelors degree or higher in engineering or science is preferred.
  • Ability to organize dade and create documents and materials using Excel, Word, and PowerPointo.
  • Ability to work enthusaistically and cooperatively with others.
Starting Date April 1, 2026 or later (negotiable)
Term The contract is valid for one year from the date of employment. It may be renewed depending on annual review and budgetary conditions.

Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors.
The maximum employment period shall not exceed five (5) years.
This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations.
Work Place National Institute for Materials Science, Namiki-Site (Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan)
Work Hours 7 hours and 45 minutes per day, 5 days per week (full-time)
Break time: 12:00-13:00
Flexible working hours allow for adjustment of work schedules.
Holiday Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, New Year holidays, annual paid leave, and other holidays as stipulated in the NIMS Regulations.
Salary / Supply
  • Hourly wago : 1,280yen ~
  • Salary will be determined in accordance with salary rwgulations, taking into consideration work experience and ability.
  • Commuting allowance ( ifhome is more then 2 km away ) provided. A maximum allowance applies.
  • Annual paid leave and other leave stipulated by the organizations regulations.
Trial Period Two months from the start date of employment
Insurance Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance and Workers Accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements.
