Overview of STAM

Science and Technology of Advanced Materials (STAM) is a high-quality English language journal with an impact factor of 7.4. STAM’s current editorial board consists of 39 members from 10 countries with expertise in diverse areas of materials research, including editor-in-chief Kazuhiro Hono (President, National Institute for Materials Science). The journal covers all areas of materials research (e.g., research on metallic, inorganic, organic and biological materials and nanotechnologies) and serves as a medium for materials scientists to globally disseminate their research findings.
The publication and editorial processes of this open access journal have been cosponsored by NIMS and the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa). Authors retain copyright to their articles, which are published under a Creative Commons CC BY license.
