| Work Description | A post-doctoral position is available for the processing and microstructure characterization of permanent magnet, with particular emphasis on materials criticality.

| Term | One year (renewable up to 5 years with annual evaluation |
| Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period | Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed five (5) years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations. |

| Scope of Work Location Changes | The scope of the change of place of work shall be limited to each of the Employer’s site, as well as other locations separately approved by the Employer. |
| Work Hours | 7 hours 45 minutes a day (negotiable as the flex-time system) Deemed working hours when the discretionary labor system is applied are 8 hours and 15 minutes per day. |
| Holiday | Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, New Year Holidays, annual paid leave, and other holidays as stipulated in the Working Regulations. |
| Salary / Supply | The salary range for Postdoctoral Research Fellow is 345,425 JPY – 493,012 JPY. In accordance with NIMS regulations, deemed overtime allowance, commuting allowance (with conditions), and social insurance are included. *There is no annual salary raise system; however, the salary may be revised upon contract renewal. |

| Insurance | Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Employees' Pension Insurance, Employment insurance, and Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance are provided (enrollment in each insurance is subject to meeting the requirements stipulated by law). |
