| Qualification | Applicants should carry Ph.D. (or scheduled to get Ph.D) in related fields. The applicants with experiences in first-principles calculations are competitive. Also, the applicants who are motivated in studying new materials and can communicate with experimental groups in NIMS will be appreciated.

| Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period | Possibly up to 2 Years with Annual Evaluation Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. |

| Salary / Supply | Supply Followed by NIMS Regulations. National Insurance is Included.

| Trial Period | A probationary period is set following the NIMS regulations. |
| Insurance | Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance and Workers’ accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements. |
