| Job Summary | This project funded from NIMS focuses on the development of soft actuators using ionic liquid-crystalline polymers, amphiphilic block polymers, and redox-active conjugated polymers and their application to haptic devices and vibration-powered electric generators. Backgrounds for organic and polymer syntheses, electrochemistry, rheology are suitable for this project.

| Qualification | Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or are expected to receive it in the field of organic chemistry or materials chemistry.

| Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period | Renewal is possible depending on an evaluation until September 30st 2025. Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed five (5) years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations. |
