| Work Description | Fabrication and evaluation of organic electrolyte-based neuromorphic devices |
| Scope of Work Description Change | Duties are subject to change within the scope of the Employee’s position. |
| Qualification | Applicants should (or are expected to) have a Ph.D. degree in the field of organic electrolyte-based neuromorphic devices or the development of organic electrolytes. We are seeking a person who has some knowledge and experience in following keywords; organic electrolyte, ion gel, neuromorphic devices, neuromorphic computing. |

| Term | 1 year (possibly renewable for an additional four years with annual evaluation) |
| Contract Renewal Criteria / Maximum Employment Period | Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed five (5) years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations. |

| Scope of Work Location Changes | The scope of the change of place of work shall be limited to each of the Employer’s site, as well as other locations separately approved by the Employer. |
| Work Hours | 7 hours 45 minutes a day, or Discretionary labor system Deemed working hours when the discretionary labor system is applied are 8 hours and 15 minutes per day. |
| Holiday | Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, New Year holidays, annual paid leave, and other holidays as stipulated in the NIMS Regulations |
| Salary / Supply | Monthly salary: 446,210 yen~(Determined based on experience and ability in accordance with the institution's term-based employee salary regulations) Fixed overtime pay included in monthly salary (Article 10, item 3 of the Salary Regulations for Fixed Term Employees) |
| Trial Period | Two months from the start date of employment |
| Insurance | Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance and Worker’s Accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements. |
