About β-Sialon Device License Agreement
All the manufacturers who produce LED devices using beta-Sialon phosphor need to use only the phosphor made by NIMS-authorized phosphor manufacturers, those are, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC), Denka Company Limited (Denka) and their subsidiaries. MCC and Denka have been granted a license for manufacturing and selling beta-Sialon phosphor from NIMS. Please note that manufactures in Peoples’s Republic of China, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia and Europe also need to obtain the beta-Sialon device license from NIMS.
