| Research Summary |
Theoretical study on topological phenomena and topological quantum materials.
Duties are subject to change within the scope of the Employee’s position. |
| Qualification |
Applicants should carry Ph.D. (or scheduled to get Ph.D) in related fields. The applicants with good backgrounds in first-principles calculations, tight-binding modeling and comuptation of topological index are competitive. |

Renewal of the contract will be determined based on work performance, work attitude, progress of the work engaged in, workload at the end of the contract period, budget situation, and other factors. The maximum employment period shall not exceed three (3) years. This may be subject to change because of amendments to the Working Regulations. |

National Institute for Materials Science, Namiki-Site, Tsukuba City, Ibaraki, Japan
The scope of the change of place of work shall be limited to each of the Employer’s site, as well as other locations separately approved by the Employer. |

A probationary period is set following the NIMS regulations. |
