NTU-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science

About the center

This center has been established in the campus of National Taiwan University (NTU) and in NIMS based on the contract for a joint research center which was concluded on July 26, 2013 between NTU and NIMS.
NTU and NIMS already concluded the Comprehensive Collaborative Agreement in 2012 and the International Cooperative Graduate School Agreement in 2013. Under these agreements, we have been promoting collaborations such as exchanging researchers and accepting students so far and also we held a joint workshop at NTU in 2013. This center is aiming to achieve further acceleration of collaborative research on strategic materials through long-term dispatching of researchers and shared use of research facilities.

IITH-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science

About the center

This center has been established in the campus of Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) and in NIMS based on the agreement for IITH-NIMS Joint Center for Materials Science, which was concluded on April 6th, 2021 between IITH and NIMS.
IITH has received supports for campus construction and student-exchange programs from the Japanese government through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Many excellent researchers in the field of Materials Science and AI have been educated and are actively involved in research there.
IITH has already concluded the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NIMS in 2019 and the International Cooperative Graduate Program agreement in 2020.
