2012.10.30 Update
The 3rd NIMS Saint-Gobain joint workshop was held at NIMS Namiki-site,Tsukuba city Japan, in October 30, 2012.
The workshop was organized in conjunction with NIMS and the University of Rennes workshop. About 60 scientists from each institution presented their work in fileds of Nano Materials, Glass, Ceramics and Organic materials.
Introductory talk by Dr. Toyohiro Chikyow, the managing director of NIMS Saint-Gobain COE.
Prenary talk by Mr. Brian Minahan of Saint-Gobain KK (Tokyo), on the brief history of NIMS Saint-Gobain partnership..
