On 24th June 2010, the signing ceremony to establish "NIMS Saint-Gobain Center of Excellence (COE) for Advanced Materials" was held at Hotel Napoleon in Paris. NIMS President, Dr. S. Ushioda, and Saint-Gobain COE, Dr. P.-A. DE CHALENDAR, signed the agreement documents of the COE. Dr. Y. Aoki, Director of the External Collaboration Division of NIMS, and Dr. Didier ROUX, R & D Director of Saint-Gobain, also attended the ceremony.
