On 13 December, 2011, Mr. F. X. Lienhart, president of Saint-Gobain KK (SGKK) in Tokyo, and other members of SGKK visited NIMS, to meet with Dr. S. Ushioda, NIMS President, Dr. J. Sone, NIMS vice-president, Dr. Y. Aoki, director of external collaboration division, Dr. T. Chikyo, managing director of NIMS-SG Center and other members of NIMS-SG Center. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss on the role of SGKK, in the future COE collaboration between Saint-Gobain and NIMS.
