Semiconductor innovation delegation from the Netherlands visits NIMS

On 22nd June, the Dutch semiconductor innovation delegation consisting of the companies and knowledge institutes which were selected from throughout the semiconductor industry value chain in Netherlands visited Research Center for Electronic and Optical Materials, Research Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA), and Research Center for Magnetic or Spintronic Materials at NIMS. They took an opportunity to discuss with NIMS researchers who have expertise in the field of semiconductors and to try to match the mutual research interests.

The delegation from Netherland was a fairly large group of 42 people, consisting of 15 private companies*1, 5 Knowledge Institutes (for industry-academia network) *2, and 10 government agencies*3. It is expected that new research exchanges with semiconductor-related researchers of NIMS will begin in the near future.
