設備利用のルールとマナーUsage Rules and Manners

1. 実験室での安全についての確認 (Managing Safety in our laboratories)

ナノ構造解析グループの設備を安全に利用するための基本的な確認事項です。
自分自身はもちろんですが、周囲の利用者、あなたの後に利用する利用者の安全にも配慮しましょう。
These notes are the outline of safety issues of laboratory work.
All users need to ensure safety, not only of yourself, but also of other user and those who will use the laboratory after you.

＊「緊急連絡先」や「避難場所・経路」、その他必要な注意事項などは、実験の当日に担当者から説明があります。
＊About “Emergency contact details” and “Place and route of Refuge”, and other safety precautions etc. Nanostructural Characterization Group staff will explain on the day of your experiment.

• 実験中にトラブルがあった場合、自分で勝手に対応せず、必ず装置担当者に連絡する。
  Contact the Nanostructural Characterization Group staff immediately if you find any problem during working in the laboratory. Do not try to fix the problem by yourself.
• 実験に適した服装と行動を心がける。
  You need appropriate clothes and behavior for laboratory work.
• 適切な保護具（手袋、保護メガネ、マスク、作業着、白衣）等を身に着ける。
  Wear a safety protector (safety gloves, safety goggles, masks, lab coat, etc.) whenever necessary.
• イヤホンなどをして音楽やラジオなどを聞きながら実験をしない。
  Do not listen to music or radio, especially through earphones, in the laboratories.
• 実験室では走らない、騒がない。
  Do not run or make excessive noise in the laboratories.
• 装置ごとの操作手順、使用ルールを守る。
  Follow the operating procedure for each instrument.
• 実験室内での飲食は禁止。
  Do not eat food or drink in the laboratories.
• 後片付けをしてから退出する。
  Be sure to keep our laboratories clean and tidy before you leave.
• 実験室は、実験前の状態に戻す。
  Put everything back in place after usage.
• 装置はマニュアルどおりの設定で終了する。
  Return the setting of instruments to the default condition according to the manual.
• 装置トラブルなどにより実験途中でも利用を終了していただく場合があります。
  In some cases, you may be required to terminate your usage even during the experiment, due to equipment trouble and so on.

2. 予約に関するルール (Reservation rules)

• ライセンス保持者は装置の利用は予約者本人がすることになっています。ただし一部装置は依頼予約制のものもありますので、各装置の予約方法については担当者にご確認ください。
  License holders can only make their own reservations and the facilities must be used by the person who has made the booking. However, some equipment is available on a request reservation basis, so please check with the person in charge about how to make a reservation for each equipment.
• 装置の予約は前日までに行ってください。当日に予約はできません。
  Please make a booking for the facilities by the day before. You can not make a booking on the day.
• 使用開始時間の24時間前までのキャンセルは課金されませんが、それ以降のキャンセルは課金される場合があります。
  The cancellation must be made at least 24 hours prior the start, otherwise your booking slot may be charged.
• 使用開始時間の24時間前まで、予約者本人により予約のキャンセルと変更が可能です。
  The booking slots can be modified/deleted 24 hours prior the start by the person who made it.
• 使用開始24時間以内の予約のキャンセルや変更は、事務局に連絡をお願いします。
  In case of cancellation or modify of your reservation within 24 hours of the start, please contact the Nanostructural Characterization Group office.
• 予約可能なセッションの回数や時間は、装置の利用状況などにより変更する場合があります。
  The number of sessions you can book each instrument may change depending on the state of the use, etc.
• 無効な予約は、ナノ構造解析グループにより削除されます。
  Invalid reservation will be removed by Nanostructural Characterization Group without any notification.

3. 注意事項 (Important Notice)

1. 予約時間中は装置予約者が責任をもって使用してください。依頼予約された場合は、依頼者が装置予約者に該当します。
   The person reserving the equipment is responsible for its use during the reserved time. If you are making a request reservation, you are the person who is responsible for its use.
2. 同僚などに自身の実験の見学をさせる場合、事前に電子顕微鏡解析ステーション ナノ構造解析グループ事務局に申請し、装置担当者に連絡をしてください。
   If you want to let your colleagues to observe your own experiments, you should contact Nanostructural Characterization Group office and the person in charge of the equipment in advance.
3. 損害が生じた場合は、それを引き起こした人物またはグループや所属機関がその代金を請求されることがあります。
   If damage caused, the person or respective group/institute who caused it may be asked to pay for the damage.
4. 無効な予約や不適切な装置の取り扱い、実験室での安全を無視した行為を繰り返した場合は、ナノ構造解析グループの設備の利用ができなくなることがあります。
   In case of repetition of invalid reservation, incorrect usage of our facilities and improper behavior in the laboratory, further usage of facilities in Nanostructural Characterization Group by this person can be prohibited by Nanostructural Characterization Group.
5. 利用者が事務局もしくは装置担当者に電子メールで連絡をする場合、利用者の責任者へ CC を入れてください。
   You must CC your supervisor or boss when you email to the office.
6. ライセンス保持者が装置利用中にスタッフのサポートが必要になった場合、技術指導料が課金されます。
   　※装置のトラブル対応を除く
   After the license is obtained, technical support fees may apply.
   　※It is not applicable to troubleshooting.
7. ライセンス保持者は、講習を受けていない機能を使うことは禁じられています。
   You must not use any functions unless you have taken those lectures.
8. ルール違反をした場合、事務局より警告メールが、本人とその責任者に送られます。
   繰り返した場合はライセンスを停止します。
   Even one rule of violation, you will be warned against rules violations via email.
   Repeated violation of the rules may withdraw your license.

個人のUSBメモリ等記憶媒体の使用禁止について
Prohibition of the usage of Personal Data Storage Devices (such as USB)

2019年12月1日よりNIMS内において、機構の情報セキュリティ関連規程等の一部改正にともない、外部からの持ち込みUSBメモリ等の記憶媒体は使用が禁止となりました。
ナノ構造解析グループ利用の皆様につきましても、以下の方法でご利用ください。

・NIMS内部の方は、NIMSグループ内で購入したUSBメモリ等の記憶媒体をご持参ください。
・USBメモリ等以外でデータを持ち帰る場合はCD-R/DVD-Rをご持参の上、そのメディアにデータをコピーしてお持ち帰りください。
　RWの使用はできません。
・外部の方でUSBメモリ等の記憶媒体をご希望の方は当グループのUSBメモリ等の記憶媒体をお貸しします。
　その場合は「記憶媒体貸出に関する同意書」の内容に同意頂く必要があります。ご希望の方はスタッフにご相談ください。

　記憶媒体貸出に関する同意書（記憶媒体を返却する際は、消去ツール等を使用し データを完全消去してから ご返却ください。）

To all Nanostructural Characterization Group users,

The use of personal data storage devices such as USB brought in from outside has been prohibited in NIMS from December 1st, 2019.
For Nanostructural Characterization Group users, please refer to the following for instructions on the usage of data storage devices.

・ for NIMS internal users, please use data storage device purchased in your group in NIMS
・ when taking home data, users must bring a CD-R/DVD-R and transfer/copy the data onto the CDR/DVD-R
　(Use of CD-RW is prohibited)
・ for external users who would like to use data storage devices, we will lend-out devices so feel free to contact Nanostructural Characterization Group office

　　Data Storage Medium Rental Agreement（Please use some erase tool to completely erase the data before returning it.）
