Daiki Nishioka ICYS Research Fellow, Takashi Tsuchiya Group Leader (Neuromorphic Devices Group), Wataru Namiki Researcher, Kazuya Terabe Group Leader (Ionic Devices Group) and their research members have received "The 9th Thin Film and Surface Physics Division Paper Award" from the Thin Film and Surface Physics Division of The Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP).

The Thin Film and Surface Physics Division Paper Award recognizes outstanding original research papers that contribute to the advancement of thin film and surface physics.
Their paper was highly evaluated for addressing the rapidly increasing power consumption issues caused by AI.

The award speech took place on March 16, 2025, at the 72nd JSAP Spring Meeting.
