Award

Sep. 16, 2026

Nami Yoshida Graduate Research Assistant of the Frontier Molecules Group (Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Chuo University), received the Best Poster Award at the 11th Union of Finc Bubble Scientist and Engineers symposium, held on Septemebr 3, 2026.

The Union of Fine Bubble Scientists and Engineers was established in 2015 to promote collaboration among professional organizations, including academic divisions, sections, workshops, and industry associations, involved in the research and development of fine bubbles. The Union aims to advance the field of fine bubble science and technology by facilitating the exchange of knowledge and promoting research and technological development.

The Best Poster Award is presented to the student who give outstanding presentations in the sutudent Poster session at the symposium.
Nami Yoshida presented her research, title "Elucidation of bubble stabilization dynamics in the star-nosed mole via biomimetic approach." Her presentation and the originality of her research was highly evaluated, leading to her receiving the Best Poster Award.

This award recognizes Yoshida’s original research and its potential for future development, and further advances in biomimetic approaches to fine bubble science and technology are expected.
