The 2nd International Symposium on Chemistry of Nanomaterials

The 2nd International Symposium on Chemistry of Nanomaterials was held at the auditorium in the WPI-MANA building on March 28 (Thu) and 29 (Fri), 2019. The first symposium was successfully held in February 2017 between the three institutes as VISTEC (Thailand), Ewha Women's University (South Korea) and MANA, in Vidyasirimedhi Science and Technology Institute (VISTEC), Thailand.
In recent years, the development of new nanomaterials, in particular 2D nanosheets, and the discovery of new functions have been remarkable, and the concept of nanoarchitectonics has been used to construct nanostructures with various new functionalities. In this symposium, we invited emerging researchers leading this field in Europe and Asia, in addition to speakers from the three institutes.
The symposium with 21 lectures (5 from NIMS) and 28 poster presentations attracted 105 people.
The third symposium is planned to be held in South Korea.
