The joint workshop on nanomaterials for sustainable development will be held at NIMS on November 12th to 13th, 2009, co-organized by Warsaw University of Technology (WUT, Poland), National Institute for Matarials Sciences (NIM, Japan), and Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research (EMPA, Switzerland).

Purpose
The aim of this workshop is to organize a high-quality scientific meeting, which has the first goal to stimulate international exchange of young scientists between the three institutions, WUT, NIMS and EMPA.
