Development of bulk magnetic materials with three major research focus on permanent magnets, soft magnets, and magnetocaloric materials.
Magnetic materials are essential component in the green energy conversion and play a critical role in realizing carbon neutrality. The research of this group is dedicated to the development of bulk magnetic materials with three main research focuses on permanent magnets, soft magnets, and magnetocaloric materials. Bulk magnetic materials with desired properties are developed by implementing a combinatorial research approach including micromagnetic simulations, data science, physical properties/microstructure evaluation, and materials processing.
