This seminar series started in 1995 as "Nanostructured Materials Seminar", and more than 200 seminars were given by the visitors to the Research Center for Magnetic and Spintronic Materials (formely Magnetic Materials Unit, Magnetic Materials Center, Metallic Nanostructure Group). The seminar series has been renamed as "Special CMSM Seminar" ("
CMSM" is the abbreviation for "Research

Materials".). Seminar is held unperiodically, when we have visitors from outside NIMS.
This seminar is periodically held to update the progress of individual research in the Research Center for Magnetic and Spintronic Materials.
