Award 2024
Two postdoctoral researchers in the Quantum Materials Field have received the "Young Researcher Prize"
Two NIMS postdoctoral researchers, Ryohei Nemoto from the Surface Quantum Phase Materials Group and Barun Kumar Barman from the Photonics Nano-Engineering Group, received the Young Researcher Award at the 10th International Symposium on Surface Science (ISSS-10) held in Kita-kyushu, Ocotber 20-24.
Organized by the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science (JVSS), this symposium is held every three years providing researchers, engineers and students with a unique opportunity to discuss recent achievements in surface science, vacuum technology and related fields.
The Young Researcher Prizes were given based on the poster session by researchers under 35 years old, held on October 21-22.
