Dr. Jinhua Ye conducts an experiment using visible-light-sensitive catalyst.
Research work by Dr. Jinhua Ye, MANA PI, on photosynthesis catalysts was introduced on NHK ECO CHANNEL. It covered part of a digest movie of NHK Special "CAN JAPAN SURVIE?" broadcasted on January 1, 2011.
In the movie, Prof. Negishi, Nobel Prize laureate in 2010, emphasized the importance of concentrating all Japanese wisdom in order to solve our common problems such as the environmental problem. Dr. Ye's photosynthesis catalyst was introduced as a key technology to solve global warming in the near future.
