A Complete Research Environment
NIMS's research environment - a reason for international pride
Facilities
Through the host institution NIMS, MANA possesses most-advanced user facilities including various high-performance large-scale ones such as high field magnets, a dedicated beamline at Japan's SPring-8 synchrotron facility, high-voltage electron microscopes, various materials fabrication support tools, analysis support instruments, and equipment in MANA-Foundry.
Support System
MANA has an internationally-visible research environment including the organization of a multinational group of young researchers and in the use of English as the official language, as well as in realizing an interdisciplinary research environment, which is promoted in the International Center for Young Scientists (ICYS) established in 2003.
