For NIMS Users
The High Magnetic Field Characterization Unit accepts instrument use, technical assistance, and staff-operated measurements by NIMS researchers.
Internal use follows a dedicated in-house application workflow (NIMS workflow), which differs from external use through ARIM or NOF.
In high magnetic field and low-temperature environments, as well as during NMR measurements, certain samples may not be measurable or may be affected by heating depending on their properties.
To ensure safe measurements, feasibility is confirmed in advance based on the provided sample information.
For internal use, first-time users are required to consult with the responsible staff in advance and receive a safety briefing prior to using the facilities.
Internal Usage Flow
①Pre-use Consultation (Required)
Feasibility and measurement conditions are reviewed based on sample information and objectives.
Please contact the unit staff via email for consultation.
