Specialized Research Field

We have been exploring the formation of single layered organic crystal films and atomic films, evaluating their electrical functions, and Hybridization to create functional devices. We will elucidate the factors that determine the electrical conductivity of organic and inorganic films, and create functional devices by combining organic and inorganic films. The combination of interfaces allows us to design and tune the electronic state at the nanoscale to control conductivity. Specifically, we will control the charge transfer effect at the interface to increase the local conductivity and the mobility of the field effect device. Aiming to develop basic technologies for the development of practical devices to achieve characteristics that cannot be achieved with current technologies trial. The development of applications for power electronics and flat panel devices to realize energy-saving elements.
