Junichi Takeya, MANA Cross Appointment Principal Investigator of Supermolecules Group's Research Published in Nature
Junichi Takeya, MANA Cross Appointment Principal Investigator of Supermolecules Group and his team (The University of Tokyo, AIST, NIMS) have discovered the ion exchange phenomenon for the first time in the world with semiconductor plastic materials. Using this principle, they have succeeded in realizing a plastic showing the nature of metal by controlling electrons with ions. In the future, it is expected to realize the devices that take advantage of the features of both ions and electrons.
