It is designed for the students to discuss their research results with other researchers and develop their presentation skills in English. It also aims to promote more comprehensive understanding of the research performed at NIMS. Each presentation at the seminar is evaluated by all faculty members.

Student Seminar Abroad

In November 2015, the Joint Student Seminar was held at the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Centre (NSRRC), Taiwan. It was noteworthy that the graduate program in Materials Science of Engineering jointly had a networking opportunity at 5 universities in Taiwan, namely, National Tsing Hua University, National Chiao Tung University, National Sun Yat-sen University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and Tamkang University. It provided a platform for interdisciplinary interaction of students specializing in materials science.
