REPM2025 Flyer
REPM2025 (The 28th International Workshop on Rare Earth and Future Permanent Magnets and Their Applications) will be held on July 27th (Sun) - 31st (Thr), 2025 at Tsukuba, Japan.

See here for REPM2025's Program

The Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Workshop is a biennial event that focuses on advances in the science and technology of rare earth permanent magnets. It highlights recent developments in the design and implementation of high-performance permanent magnets for energy applications. The workshop will cover both fundamental materials research in academia and developments in industrial applications such as motors, generators, and actuators. It will also address issues of rare earth resources and magnet recycling to assess life cycle sustainability. Fundamental aspects of materials development will also include innovative computational methods such as machine learning and data-driven accelerated materials discovery, novel alloy design approaches, and advanced processing and characterization techniques. Proposals for alternative magnets without rare earth elements are also within the scope.

Presented Materials with DOI:

As part of our efforts to ensure that all oral and poster presentations can be properly cited in the academic literature, REPM2025 will archive the final versions of all presentations in NIMS's data repository (MDR). Each presentation will be assigned a DOI, allowing it to be formally referenced in future publications.

We kindly ask you to submit your final revised version of the presentation by August 31st, 2025, ensuring that any copyright issues have been resolved prior to submission. Please send the finalized PDF files to REPM2025@nims.go.jp.

Once uploaded, the presentation files will be linked directly from the REPM2025 program, making them easily accessible and citable for the research community.

Thank you for your cooperation in making REPM2025 a lasting scientific resource.
