The Photocatalytic Materials Center (Managing Director: Jinhua Ye) of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS; President: Sukekatsu Ushioda) discovered a new type of semiconductor material, Ag3PO4, which shows a super-high water oxidation activity under visible light irradiation (QY: ~90% at 420nm)
