Research results of Satoshi Ishii (Senior Researcher) and Tadaaki Nagao (Group Leader of Photonics Nano-Engineering group) will be exhibited at TEPIA (Association for Technological Excellence Promoting Innovative Advances) from March 22, 2022.
Dispersion of titanium nitride nanoparticles in water increases the rate of water temperature rise. A distiller using nano-materials that can be easily operated by sunlight only is expected to contribute the problem of potable water in times of disaster or in undeveloped areas.
