The 2nd Japanese Culture Class 2011 "Japanese Tea" instructed by Ms. Yoshiko Atsumi from the Nihoncha Instructor Association, was held at Ninomiya-House, Tsukuba, on June 24.

After a basic lecture about the history of Japanese tea and tasting of eight 8 kinds of Japanese tea, the instructor demonstrated how to make a nice cup of tea by using green tea and tea-bag. Then seventeen participants challenged to make Japanese tea by taking good care of its temperature and density. The participants enjoyed taking tea. One of them said " I learned how to make a nice Japanese tea and I'll try by myself at home".
