Akito Tateyama, a trainee from the Frontier Molecules Group (Hokkaido University - NIMS Joint Graduate School), received the "Soft Matter Poster Award (RSC)" at the 14th International Gel Symposium held in Okinawa from November 17 to 21, 2024.

The symposium focused on current issues in basic research and practical applications of polymer gels and related materials science and engineering. This year's symposium also discussed research on solvent-free elastomers, rubbers, and other polymer networks as well as active soft matter.
