Katsuhiko Ariga, MANA Principal Investigator won the Chemical Society of Japan Award 2021.

This award is given to the researchers who have an achievement particularly outstanding at the highest award of the Chemical Society of Japan. It was given in recognition of his pioneering work on alternate layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly and molecular recognition at interfaces. Dr. Ariga is the first NIMS researcher to receive this award.
