Dr. Masayoshi Higuchi, MANA Independent Scientist, received the Gottfried Wagener Prize 2010 given by German Innovation Award. The award, inspired by the work of Gottfried Wagener, has been initiated by twelve technology-focused German companies and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan to promote cooperation between Germany and Japan in industry and academia.

Dr. Higuchi was highly appraised his research work on "Development of New Electrochromic Materials and Their Application to Display Devices". The award ceremony will be held at the Residence of the German Ambassador in Tokyo on May 12th, 2011.
