Research and Development Theme 5:Elements Strategy Team
Rechargeable batteries based on ubiquitous elements such as magnesium and sodium are promising energy storage technologies to realize environmentally benign, resource-sustainable society.
In this collaboration, we are aiming at developing the prototype of rechargeable magnesium batteries upon integrating prospective electrode/electrolyte materials assisted by interfacial engineering.
Also, the guideline of materials and processes for achieving high-power sodium-ion batteries will be established through utilizing various advanced analytical techniques and computational sciences.
