Graduate Program
(Waseda University - NIMS Joint Graduate School)

 Students who are expecting a MS (or its equivalent) degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Applied Physcs, Physics or Solid State Chemistry by the end of March or September are eligible to apply, the starting dates of which are April or October.

 No Japanese speaking ability is required, but candidates must have a good command of English. All applicants must submit either official TOEFL or TOEIC or IELTS score to the admission office to prove their English ability (note that Institutional TOEFL or TOEIC score reports are not acceptable). Accepted students will be awarded the NIMS Junior Research Assistantship which will cover the tuition and stipend for their two year master course and three year Ph.D. course in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Tsukuba. The students who are interested in the following three areas are welcome to apply.
